ActivBoard and ActivInspire

Our ActivBoard resources provide extension activities for each NiE publication as well as extra information, photos and web links related to the topic. ActivBoard resources are available on the day each NiE publication is published.

If you are not an ActivBoard user, you can still access the NiE ActivBoard activities using the FREE personal version of ActivInspire. Download this from: www.prometheanplanet.com and apply for a teacher consent license.

To download NiE ActivBoard activities visit Promethean Planet. There are two search options:

1) In the search box enter “nie”. Make sure the country category is removed from the “Current Search” blue box on the left by clicking the “x”. Sort the search results by ‘most recent’. Download the appropriate flipchart before opening it in Activsoftware.

2) In the search box enter the name of the appropriate NiE issue, e.g. “climate alert” or “beautiful butterflies”. Make sure you put speech marks around your search term. Once you have found the matching resource, download the flipchart before opening it in Activsoftware.
